It feels weird to think about as I’m typing this from my house in LA, but just a few days ago I was lucky enough to attend the Chanel Fashion Show in Paris. It was their Fall-Winter 2017/18 collection, and it was everything I thought it’d be and more. I’ve been to a few Chanel shows, but something about this one was extra special – and they are all amazing, so that’s saying something.

Ya estoy de regreso en Los Angeles, pero no les voy a mentir, se siente un poquito raro estar aquí cuando hace un par de días atras estaba en París viendo este desfile! La colección Otoño Invierno 2017-18 sobrepasó mis expectativas. He tenido la suerte de asistir a 4 shows de Chanel anteriormente, cada show es como si fuera mi primero, la emoción y el sentimiento es el mismo, pero este show en particular se sintió extra especial.
Here are 3 things that especially stood out:
The Theme
The whole show was very futuristic, magical and ethereal. It had us reaching for the stars and basically transported the audience to another world. From the Chanel-branded spacecraft (yes, a spacecraft!) that had a mock liftoff to end the show, to the amazing soundtrack, the theme was so unique and well thought-out. I definitely had chills during the final walk!

Las 3 cosas que más me llamaron la atención fueron:
El Tema: El show fue muy futurístico y mágico. Karl Lagerfeld nos transportó a otro mundo. El cohete (sí un cohete marca Chanel!) que ¨despegó¨al final del show, la música, el tema, todo fue muy diferente y muy pensado! No podía contener toda mi emoción durante todo el show, especialmente cuando las modelos caminaron al final.
Classic Chanel prints, textures and shapes were mixed in with mod-hair, metallic and a bit of rock-star energy. It was just really cool. And yes, Kendall and Gigi were walking!

Los print clásicos de Chanel, el tweed, los vestidos con estilo de los 60s y 70s fueron parte de este show. Los peinados fue otra cosa que me encantó. Todo tenía un feel bien rockstar y cool! Y sí, Kendall y Gigi caminaron en el show!
The Glittery Boots
I can’t remember being so obsessed with a style of boots from a runway, but the knee-high, cap-toe glitters boots stole the show. They were fun and totally in line with the theme, too – kind of 60s/70s bombshell but modernized. They were shown on a lot of models in a variety of colors and every single pair was beautiful. I NEED a pair, ASAP. I think we’ll be seeing this style recreated everywhere this fall/winter.

Otra cosa me encantó fueron las botas de glitter! Creo que de todos los shows que he visto, nunca me había impresionado tanto un estilo de bota. Le dió un toque muy juvenil a todos los looks e iba muy bien con el tema del show. Estas botas tambíen le dieron un toque estilo bombshell de los 60s-70s a todos los looks. Las botas las mostraron en varios colores. No hace falta decir que me encantaron y que necesito un par! Definitivamente se robaron el show!

Por último, otra cosa que me encantó del show fue la nueva bolsa Gabrielle. Ya la habían mostrado el season anterior, pero esta vez la sacaron muchísimo más y la vistieron con varios looks. Estoy enamorada de esta bolsa. Viene en varios colores y formas y estoy segura que va a estar en el wish list de todas! Pronto les estaré mostrando más de esta bolsa. Se van a enamorar!
