5 Ways To Incorporate Embroidery

Embroidered leather jacket and dress, The Girl From Panama

Embroidery is officially everywhere! Have you noticed?

Other than military and all kinds of denim, embroidery is one of the biggest trends happening right now. From jackets to bags, any piece looks more fun and more unique with an embroidered detail. And with spring and summer coming up, look for lots of flower and bright stitching to make a piece pop.

I love this rose-embellished leather jacket that I wore during Fashion Week. This outfit would have looked good with a regular leather jacket, but the embroidery makes it modern and playful, I think. I also like the mix of the flowers and plaid pattern of my dress, but I kept everything else simple.

In case you want to get into the trend, here are 5 other ways to wear embroidery:

Dresses

Wedding and festival season are coming up quick, and these dresses are the perfect option. I’m really into the roses on the black pieces, too.

Tops

These shirts are all so adorable! I’d wear them to the beach, Coachella, or just running around LA. These would be great with denim or dressed up with leather shorts for a date.

Bottoms

Denim is really fun right now, and embroidery is a huge reason why. The skirts are also beautiful!

Jackets

These can be worn right now while temps aren’t super high, or can be draped over your shoulders for an effortless look during summer.

Accessories

There are so many cute bags and shoes when it comes to embroidery! These scream spring/summer to me.

Do you like the embroidery trend? What’s your favorite piece?
