I was browsing one of my favorite sites and was looking for something a bit different to make my jeans look trendier and less classic. Originally I was looking for a basic shirt dress when suddenly I stumbled on this maxi beach shirt dress from ASOS.
I immediately could visualize the potential of wearing it with a nice pair of jeans and decided to buy it. When I find something I love, you know I’m going to share it with all of you. I think this is a great find because it’s extremely versatile, and it doesn’t hurt that is very affordable. The shirt dress is light weight and the open front with the tie gives it a bit of cuteness, but the fixed rolled sleeves complement the piece nicely by giving it a bit more of a careless/chic vibe.
You can wear it with jeans like I did, or with some shorts or slip dress. You can definitely wear it with either heels or flats—it truly is one of the most versatile pieces in my closet right now. It’s great for traveling too; you can wear it as a cover-up during the day and pull it back out in the evening for a date night. At the very least, it helps save some space in your suitcase!
