There is one item I wear nonstop and you should already know that it is the blazer! My closet is full of them and you guys have been asking me to share more about my favorite blazers. Mark my words that this will be one of fall’s most popular and highly sought after pieces. It’s a great piece to layer, looks perennially chic, and is perfect in every way. I’ve listed out 6 essential styles in my blazer collection that I think every boss lady should own. Let me know which ones you already have!

1. Double Breasted Blazer
My first recommendation is the double breasted blazer, which is one of my obsessions. The double breasted details are evident in the two column buttons which are exposed on the mid-section. It is a power piece that shows you’re all about getting things done. It’s fitted in the shoulder but gets loose through the body, making it great for building layers while providing structure.
2. Plaid Blazer
The plaid blazer is one of the hero items of the season. It’s just an incredible piece because it looks “borrowed from the boys” yet it’s so timeless and perfect for fall! I love wearing my plaid blazers with jeans.
3. Pinstripe Blazer
Not only does the pinstripe blazer have elongating powers, but it’s refined and extra polished. Think part minimal, part business, and is sure to earn you style points for making any outfit sharp!
4. Boyfriend Blazer
The boyfriend blazer will give you that casual but cool effect. It’s a little bit oversized and literally looks like you went into your boyfriend’s closet and stole his blazer. I like to pair mine with a graphic tee or wear it belted.
5. Colored Blazer
As you guys are aware, the season is going to be blasted with color. If you’re like me and don’t like to wear bright hues, a colored blazer is the perfect way to tap into the trend without getting uncomfortable. I take mine in red but go for any other hue that you like!
6. Classic Blazer
Last but not least, every boss lady needs the classic, single-breasted piece with one or two buttons in her blazer collection. The fit should cut off right near the hip area, be well-fitted through the waist, and sleeves just right. This is the one blazer you can wear with any-and-everything!
