Last week I shared my Fall Wardrobe Essentials to help you transition into the colder months. Every season I try to make a list of main pieces I need for the season so hopefully my list was helpful to you. I did forget to talk about denim, specifically flare denim in a dark rinse. Here I’m wearing these tailorless pintuck trousers from 7 For All Mankind. This is probably the first time I got a pair of flare denim and didn’t have to tailor them, which is fantastic because most of the time when you shorten a flare you end up losing its dramatic shape. So if you are short like me (I’m 5’2″) I totally recommend getting a pair.

This weekend the weather dropped dramatically in Boston. It was so cold, my husband and I barely left the house. On a good note, the weather is perfect now to wear faux-fur coats and vests! This is another thing I forgot to add to my Fall wardrobe essentials list. Faux-fur adds a subtle touch of chicness and sophistication to any Fall (or Winter) look. You don’t have to spend a lot of money, you can find some options at a pretty reasonable price-range so make sure to check out stores like Forever 21, asos.com and Nordstrom. That’s where I’ve bought all of my faux-fur coats.
