Last week I flew to Geneva, Switzerland with IWC for the SIHH, the world’s most important luxury watch trade show. It was an honor, to say the least, to be part of this. I’ve worked with IWC several times in the past so it was really exciting to travel with them for the first time and experience this event.
We arrived on Sunday afternoon and had an amazing group dinner at the Hotel Kempinski. The next day was the most exciting day… We woke up early and headed to the SIHH convention center. We toured all of the booths, got to see some beautiful timepieces and spent the entire day lusting over IWC’s new Da Vinci collection.
GET MY LOOKS
The design of the watches is a tribute to Leonardo Da Vinci’s fascination for the circle as a geometric symbol. What I love the most about this collection is that the watches are smaller and slimmer, but also have a more feminine and minimalistic design. There are 2 timepieces that are tailored specifically for women, with beautiful diamonds and fashionable leather straps in colors like raspberry, bronze, dark brown and dark blue. Trying these timepieces and seeing all of the details up close was a unique experience. IWC is known for their art of creating beautiful watches and this collection definitely embodied that.
To celebrate the launch of the new Da Vinci Collection, IWC threw the most spectacular gala filled with several IWC brand ambassadors and a-list stars, such as Rosamund Pike, James Marsden, Karolina Kurkova and Adriana Lima, to name a few. We enjoyed a fabulous 3-course dinner, danced the night away, and enjoyed a special performance from the singer Mo.
I hope you enjoyed following along this trip! I’m so honored to be part of the IWC family, I can’t thank their team enough for letting me be part of this iconic launch. Stay tuned for more of The Girl From Panama and IWC!
