This is officially the last post of 2015, what a ride it’s been!  Thanks again to all of you for following along and  for coming back here every day to check out my posts and for making this creative outlet possible for me. Today, I thought it would be appropriate to share my top 5 style resolutions for the new year. Let’s see if I can stick to my goals, you guys can feel free to keep me honest!

Wear More Color

This post is perfect for this style resolution because as you can see above, I tend to gravitate mainly toward neutrals.  This year I want to embrace my Latin roots and play more with colors.

Have More Fun

Sometimes I take fashion too seriously, especially because I have a blog.  I’m certainly guilty of overthinking my outfits from time to time when in fact the outfits that I just grab right before I walk out the door are generally the ones that work best and that you guys seem to enjoy most. I definitely want to be a bit more laid back and let my mood dictate my outfit more often.

Embrace Comfort

Dressing comfortably is definitely going to be important in the coming winter months.  I know my blog is all about chic and glam attire, but (as you all know) I don’t dress this way every day of my life. I want to invest in a nice pair of sneakers and some other comfortable clothes to give you all a look at what my outfits look like when I’m “off duty!”

Worry Less

A lot of people think having a blog doesn’t take much work, that it’s just playing dress up and taking pictures.  However, what I learned first hand is there is so much more that goes into styling the shoots.  There are a million minute details that I consider before, during, and after every single one of my blog posts. I think this is important because it ensures quality, but I also want to let loose a bit and just go with the flow when I’m shooting.  Enjoying the moment and being more laid back definitely comes across in the pictures.  At the end of the day, the reason I left my 9-5 job was to pursue my dream career so I need to ensure I embrace it!

Share More Style Tips

This blog was mainly created for outfit inspiration, but I also want you to be able to come here for a bit more than that.  Through blogging and my career in the beauty industry, I’ve learned a lot of great tips and tricks when it comes to styling looks.  I really want to take the time to put together more  content where you can take a little something extra from my daily looks.

Ok that does it, my last post of 2015.  I hope everyone has an exciting and safe New Year’s Eve and I wish you all the best in 2016! See you next year!
