How to Bring Color to a Neutral Outfit

How to Bring Color to a Neutral Outfit | The Girl From Panama

This whole spring, I’ve been on the go – from LA to Palm Springs to New York and now I’m currently wrapping up a trip in Panama). Since I’ve been traveling so much, I’ve been bringing a lot of neutral pieces with me—black and blue denim, white, black, or tan, tops and dresses, etc.—so that I can mix and match and have more options.

And the main way that I’ve been adding uniqueness to a look and not having everything be so boring is with shoes and accessories. I’ll just add a pop of color. It makes traveling easy and outfits much more beautiful!

Specifically, I’ve been pairing these gorgeous Stuart Weitzman heels with just about everything. They are perfect for a little white dress, or with black jeans and a gingham top like I have on here. Plus, I love how they are a sexy pair of sandals – perfect for springtime dressing! I added in some fun earrings to play off the red and to add a pop to my upper half. You could also swap out the earrings for a colorful bag, but I like having color on the very top and bottom of my body, and not breaking up the neutral pieces in the center.

I wore this to dinner and drinks in Panama and felt like the outfit was playful but also easy to throw together. Do you agree?
