I think I’ve walked 10 miles the past few days all over Paris. It’s a large, sprawling city, but it’s also fantastic to simply walk around between shows, meetings, heading to restaurants, etc. I feel like every day I’m discovering a fantastic new hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop or gorgeous plaza, it’s like they’re around every other corner here.

Yesterday I was at the Roland Mouret show backstage with MAC Cosmetics. It was a pretty surreal experience seeing all the models getting ready to hit the runway. It truly is a production! As a nice treat, Val Garland (an extremely successful make-up artist for Mac) was doing a step-by-step commentary for all the looks for the show. It was pretty impressive listening to her explain the very intricate process while she was applying makeup on the models at the same time.
