I know I’ve been sharing a lot of pics from Panama lately, but before I forget I want to share some more pics of Paris Fashion Week and where I stayed while I was there. When I start to plan my trips for Fashion Week one of the most important things I pay attention to is the hotel. Finding a good hotel can really make or break the whole experience of Fashion Week.
In Paris, I stayed at the Sofitel Le Faubourg, located in rue Boissy d’Anglas just next to one of my favorite streets, Rue St. Honoré, which has some of the most amazing luxury stores and restaurants in the city. This is a great hotel to stay for fashion week for many reasons, one being the fantastic location.
It is close to (within walking distance) to some of the most popular fashion week venues like the Grand Palais, Tuileries Garden, the Louvre and many other attractions.
In addition to the location, the internet connection was fantastic. Nothing breaks a deal more than staying at a hotel that doesn’t have high-speed internet, especially when you’re constantly dealing with large files, like photos. At the Sofitel, you even had the option of upgrading to a premium high-speed internet, but we didn’t even need it since the basic version was so great.
The overall ambiance, staff and food were great as well. I want a hotel that’s nice but that I can also share on Instagram with all of you. The Sofitel had many beautiful areas I was able to showcase with you like their beautiful patio and my beautiful window overlooking the street. We were also treated to a delicious breakfast every morning.
Also, the concierge service was great! During fashion week, I’ve had horrible experiences where packages that brands sent to me go missing, at the Sofitel, they kept all of my packages saved and stored for me.
My experience at the Sofitel Le Faubourg was great! I think you can tell by the pictures I’ve already shared. I recommend staying there if you are visiting Paris for fashion week or just for fun! Let me know if you have any questions! xo, Pam
