Hey guys, hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! I can’t believe it’s already June, but at the same time, I’m so excited because I have some pretty cool trips coming up. The first will be kicking off this weekend. I’ll be off to The Hamptons then NYC for a few days – there’s going to be lots of fun and action on instagram, so don’t forget to follow along.
I have been busy these last couple of days shopping the best sales, preparing outfits, and packing and trying hard not to overpack! But it’s so hard to stick to only a few items. I think I finally got it together though so I wanted to share with you guys what to pack for your next summer vacation. Crop Tops
You guys know by now that chic is my modus operandi. It’s unlikely that I will show a lot of skin at once, but I’m always down for flashing a little midriff. Crop tops and high waisted combos are great items to pack because you can mix and match them with anything.
Slide Sandals
There is no shoe more perfect for summer than comfy slide sandals. When you’re jetting off to a city where walking is not an option, like NYC, your feet will thank you for chic slides! But if you absolutely need heels, small block heel options work too!
Airy Dresses
Breezy sundresses are perfect for all summer vacations because they’re multi-functional. You can wear it as a cover-up by the pool or with heels at night. Plus, you can count on them to will always help you look and feel amazing!
Pops of Color
I know you guys always see me wearing black, white, and nudes, but I’m trying hard to wear more color. Since 2018 has brought us so many beautiful hues to pick from, I’m going to encourage you to pack color for your next summer trip!
Denim
Perhaps my favorite piece of all – denim! From jeans and skirts to cut offs, nothing beats the comfort of denim. It’s so casual yet easily elevated and can make for some of the best outfits! I never leave for days at a time without a good denim piece!
Woven Accessories
The it-item of the year goes to the straw or woven bag. I’m a huge fan and love how it always makes me look summer ready! You’ll be missing out if you don’t get one now.
Narrow Sunglasses
No summer packing session is complete without sunglasses. Skip the aviators and round styles and opt for trendier eyewear with tiny lenses to protect your eyes from the sun.
