One of my favorite parts about spring and summer is the beauty that comes with it. Bronzed skin, less makeup, a dewy complexion – I love the freshness that follows with beauty trends in the warmer months. I feel my best with a little tan and a pretty pop of color on my lips, and find that along with a little mascara, that’s really all I need on most summer days.
My skin is olive, so I look best in nudes, pinks, and reds, but I do like to experiment with new colors here and there. Today, I want to share with you the lipgloss and lipsticks that I have been using lately.

NUDE
Rouge d’ Armani Sheers in #205 – I recently discovered Armani lip products and now I’m obsessed! This lipstick feels like a gloss and lip balm together. It’s super moisturizing and the shade matches the natural shade of my lips so it’s great for when I want to wear just a bit of makeup.
Armani Ecstasy Lacquer in #511 – This lipgloss feels like a lipstick mainly because it’s non-drying and non-sticky. You can wear it alone or you can wear it on top of the Rouge d’ Armani Sheers. I love the consistency and I also like how shiny it looks.
PINK
bareMinerals GEN NUDE Radiant Lipstick in Tutu – This is probably the lipstick I wear the most! It’s creamy, moisturizing, long-lasting and non-sticky – pretty much everything you would want in a lipstick. Obsessed!
CHANEL Rouge Coco Gloss in #119 – I love anything from CHANEL and this lipgloss is no exception. Some of the ingredients are Coconut Oil, Peptides, and Vitamin E. All of these ingredients make your lips feel smooth and they also give you a little bit of a plumping effect. Definitely a must-buy!
DARK PINK
BURBERRY Liquid Lip Velvet in Fawn N5 – This is my first time trying Burberry’s lip products and I’m completely hooked. The color is so saturated, you only need one application. It’s matte and creamy and the color won’t dry, fade or crack. I love it!
ILIA Lipstick in Madam Mina – This is a beautiful pretty nude-mauve lipstick. This one is full-coverage and it’s made with Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E. It’s the perfect everyday lipstick.
PEACHY
Rouge d’ Armani Sheers in #513 – You already know why I love these lipsticks. This is a beautiful peachy color that looks beautiful on tan skin! This shade is great for olive skin tones.
CHANEL Rouge Coco Gloss in #748 Nectar – Once again, you already know why I love this lipgloss! The color Nectar is a beautiful nude peachy color that delivers just the right amount of shine. If you like long-lasting lipgloss, this is the one for you.
RED
Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro Lip Stain in #407 Drama Red – This is one of the best red lipsticks I’ve ever tried! It is creamy and highly pigmented with a velvety finish. It claims to have 8 hours of wear and I can tell you that it last that long. You need this liquid lipstick in your life!
CHANEL Rouge Coco Stylo in #222 Fiction – Another favorite from CHANEL. This is an all-in-one formula. It feels like a lipstick, lipgloss, and lip balm altogether. The color is very intense and it last all day long!
BURGUNDY
Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet in #53 Oxblood – Like I mentioned previously, I’m obsessed with this product. The pigmentation and finish it’s amazing! Beautiful color, great texture- creamy and comfortable.
Honest Beauty Truly Kissable Lip Crayon in Mulberry Kiss – This Lip Crayon is one of my all-time favorites. It has a matte finish, the color is rich and it’s super easy to apply. Perfect for a little color on-the-go.
