4th of July is still somewhat new to me since I was raised in Panama, but over the years I’ve learned to embrace and enjoy the American holiday. It always feels like the official start of summer, and I love that it’s a long weekend full of sun, BBQs, pool time, and hanging out with friends – oh and fireworks!
I’m not a huge fan of looking matchy-matchy to the flag or anything, but I do like to put together an outfit that’s festive yet chic. Something you can easily hangout in at a party or throw over a bathing suit since the holiday is usually pretty casual.
There’s a ton of cute stuff out right now to celebrate summer style, and I’ve picked out my favorite pieces that would be perfect for this weekend, or any to follow. I especially love gingham for 4th of July outfits, or incorporating denim, red or white in some capacity (just not all at once).
