It’s been over a year since I cut my hair from long to short, and I have to say, I have no regrets yet. I really do love the short-hair lifestyle and how easy things are to style. Since I got a lot of hair questions this past year, I’m doing my best to share more styling tips and product information with you guys. It’s been a while since I shared my product list, so I wanted to do that today. These are the items I’ve purchased over and over (though some last forever!) in 2019. Some are new to me with short hair but some I’ve been using for years.
I’ve been using this forever and it’s just the best. You probably see every blogger use it and it’s for good reason :) It’s the best at giving any hair texture and I’ve used it on short and long hair.
I like to use this on my ends to smooth things over, especially if I have a lot of split ends. If you apply it before you blow-dry and brush through it, it can also work as a heat protectant (which I need), or you can just apply to your ends once your hair is dry. It makes your hair shiny and silky but doesn’t weigh it down. Great for frizz and it protects from UV damage.
Since I do use a lot of heat on my hair, I like to give it a repairing treatment, especially on the ends. This balm is crazy good for hydrating dead ends or hair in general. I use it on my ends and anywhere my hair feels like it needs moisture and repair. You can also apply it at night and then sleep with it in (it comes with a little bun cover), or put it in for a few minutes before showering. You just have to make sure you shampoo/rinse it out well.
I have been using purple shampoo ever since I started going more blonde. The purple shampoo helps to remove any orange or brassy tones.
This is the more expensive purple shampoo I use and I just love Oribe’s shampoos in general. I switch between this and the Kerastase.
I use this curling iron for my everyday beach waves and it’s SO good, especially for the price.
This is what I spray right when I get out of the shower and before I brush my hair. It smells amazing and makes my hair more manageable. It conditions and protects the hair from heat. I’ll use this one forever!
