I’m sure you have seen them everywhere on Instagram, these delicious acai bowls are one of my favorites meals to have to start my day. Acai is a Brazilian fruit packed with vitamins and antioxidants. Pretty much, all you need to know is that they are healthy and delicious.
Keep reading to learn how to make them in less than 10 minutes!
Ingredients: (Serves 2 bowls)
2 Puree packs of the Sambazon Acai Berry Original Blend (comes with 4 Puree Packs)
1/2 Cup of blueberries
1 Banana
1 Teaspoon of honey
1 Teaspoon of almond butter
Toppings: Coconut Powder, Granola, (1) Banana, Strawberries, Blueberries
Preparation:
Run the Puree Packs under water for 5 seconds.
Open the packs, put them in a blender and break up the frozen Acai into small pieces with a knife.
Blend the Acai with the half of the blueberries, 1 banana, 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of almond butter.
Once it’s all blended, it’s time to add the toppings to your liking; add the granola, half of the blueberries, coconut powder, half of a banana (one-half for each serving) and strawberries.
Btw, the cost of making this at home is about $5.00 vs. buying it at a juice bar, which costs around $9.00!
