One of Spring 2016’s most popular accessory trends are bags in bright and bold colors. From green to bright orange, a colorful bag is the easiest way to update your wardrobe for Spring and Summer. Although the look I’m wearing today is very simple, this satchel from Henri Bendel made it look put together and fashion-forward. I love the shape and style of this bag and even though this is the mini size, I can fit all of my daily essentials in it.

Structured shapes: a structured bag always looks classier and more expensive. I find that colorful bags more often than not can look cheap so invest in a structured shape to avoid this dilemma.
Clean Hardware: pay close attention to the hardware. Whether it is gold, silver or rose, make sure the design is clean and simple. Avoid things like big hardware logos and look for clean designs.
Bright and bold colors: have fun with colors! This is the season to invest in colorful bags. The options are endless!
