I’ve gotten a lot of great feedback after my trip and I wanted to give you guys a more detailed look at what my day to day schedule was like while in Cuba with CHANEL.
Sunday, May 1st
9:00 am- We departed Panama in route to Cuba
12:00pm We arrived in beautiful Cuba!
We stayed at the beautiful and historic Hotel Nacional in Havana.
3:00pm Lunch at Santy Pescador Restaurant
We had a beautiful lunch at Santy Pescador Restaurant. An amazing seafood restaurant with a great view. The food was so fresh and delicious! I definitely recommend going there if you go to Cuba.
6:30pm Karl Lagerfeld’s photographs ‘Obra en Proceso / Work in Progress’ at the Factoría Habana
After lunch, we headed back to the hotel to change to get ready for the Inauguration of the exhibition of Karl Lagerfeld’s photographs ‘Obra en proceso / Work in Progress’ at the Factoría Habana. This exhibition was divided into three sections representing the designer’s main interest in fashion, architecture and landscapes. Needless to say, it was an amazing experience to see these photographs up close. This exhibition was actually open to the public the day after for a few days so everyone in Cuba was able to experience this beautiful exhibition.
9:30pm Dinner at La Guarida Restaurant
The food in Cuba, wow! What can I say! La Guarida is actually one of the most popular restaurants in Cuba. It has a beautiful entrance with a grand staircase. The restaurant has some amazing views and most importantly, the food that the CHANEL team picked for us was out of this world!

7:00 am Photoshoot with Prime Life & Style Magazine in collaboration with CHANEL
I was up bright and early for a full shoot of 6 locations and 6 different looks with some pieces from the CHANEL airlines collection. I had such a blast doing this and I just want to say thanks to CHANEL and the Prime Magazine team for making this collaboration possible. If you guys aren’t familiar, Prime is one of the top publications in Panama right now so I was so thrilled to work with them. The spread will be ready in September and I can’t wait to show you all of the looks we shot. Here’s a little sneak peek.
7:00 pm Welcome Dinner at the Atelier Restaurant
The CHANEL team surprised us once again with a beautiful reception at Atelier Restaurant for all of the press. We started off with some tasty mojitos and refreshing coconut water. See the video here! There was a wide selection of fantastic hors d’oeuvres and amazing live Cuban music. After, we were brought upstairs for a beautiful candlelit dinner at the rooftop terrace. It was truly a remarkable dining experience.

The Tropicana Club in Havana is a well-known nightclub with amazing live cabaret. I hope you guys saw some of the Snapchats I shared from here, it was so much fun. There were several different acts and dances, it was a such a great night filled with lots dancing, wonderful music, and great company.

2:00pm Lunch at El Del Frente Restaurant
El Del Frente Restaurant was my favorite restaurant by far and is actually a popular tourist destination. The food was incredible, check out the pic below to see what I mean. The drink I had was a Watermelon Mojito, so good!

9:00am: Architectural Tour
This was SO fun and interesting. We rode around in style in some beautiful antique cars and got to see all of the main Cuban monuments, parks, and other historic landmarks. I was so glad we had one last chance to walk around the city and of course, do a little shopping!
Later that evening it was time to head back home. I just want to send another extra special thanks to CHANEL for allowing me to experience and incredible event in such a beautiful place with so much rich history. I’m so happy that I’m able to share my experience with you guys and I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!
