I can’t believe it’s here. After all of the planning, preparing and packing New York Fashion Week has officially begun! Let me tell you, it is off to an incredible start. It’s been a whirlwind first few days and there is so much that I want to share with you guys. I would love to spill every detail, but there is much more to come so I’ve decided to give you a recap of my first 48 hours in NYC.
My flight was canceled due to the Storm Niko, but thankfully I was able to get to NYC on Thursday Night. The next morning I had a morning packed with meetings and showroom appointments. I always love these meetings because it’s a great way to connect face to face with some of my favorite brands!

On Friday, the first presentation that I saw was RtA brand. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw a little sneak peek. I loved their fur jackets and denim. I wore some amazing printed pants by LPA from Revolve and my favorite leather jacket. The next morning, I went to the Tibi show with Aveda. I absolutely love both of the brands. Tibi’s collection was beautiful. I saw lots of satin, velvet, exaggerated shoulders and my favorite part, undone hair tucked into collars paired with fresh dewy faces. For this, I wore a mint jacket by Lavish Alice and a Zara cami dress. I paired this with my trusty Levi’s and these boots.
