With the official start of summer coming next week, it’s officially bathing suit season! Hopefully, you have a vacation planned or at least some days by a beach or pool. There are so many different bathing suit styles out right now, which makes shopping for them much easier. You can find ones that you feel and look great in, which is the best combo. I just did some suit shopping so I wanted to round up the 5 flattering swimsuits that I think all vacations could use!

Black One-Piece
Just like a little black dress, you need a black one-piece in your closet. They are incredibly versatile for trips since you can mix and match them with a lot of coverups and they’re usually flattering. The cutouts in this particular one hit in all the right spots, and I’m obsessed with the zig-zag detail. There’s also good coverage in the chest. A classic suit with a modern touch!
Colored One-Piece
One-pieces have come a long way in the past couple years, with there being endless options to pick from. A lot of those options are sexy, which is a flirty spin on a traditional one-piece. This color is beautiful – perfect with a tan – and the back adds such allure. The low-cut is flattering as well. It’s definitely a staple for vacations this year!
Crochet
Crochet suits are everywhere right now and I think they are so cute. The 70s vibe and colors of this one are a cool addition to your vacation bag, and it looks great with a pair of denim cutoffs. The adjustable tie on the bottoms is nice and can work with any shape, too. I can’t wait to wear this bikini all summer long.
White
I’ve always been drawn to crisp white bathing suits against a bronzed body. There’s always something that reminds me of summer at home in Panama when I see a white suit. I’m in love with this one. It’s a great way to look tanner at the start of a trip and can be matched with all kinds of coverups.
High-waist
I was a little scared of this cut at first, but then I realized that since I love high-waist jeans so much, I needed to try the cut in bathing suit form. And I really like it! It’s comfortable, on-trend, and a lot more flattering than I would have though. This color is gorgeous in person, too!
