Recently, we have had a pretty intense heat wave in Los Angeles. Even though I’m used to this weather (being that it is 100 degrees every day in Panama), I am SO ready to welcome the colder months!
I’m thrilled to see what the encroaching Fall 2017 fashion trends bring, but mostly excited for the release of the Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Starbucks. I know, very cliché, but I seriously cannot wait! No shame in my PSL game. Since Fall will be here before we know it, I decided to put together a little wish list of some things I want to do before I officially say goodbye to Summer. I only have a couple weeks so I better get started checking things off of my list now! Below is my wish list before the Summer ends:
SHOP THE POST
Carolina Herrera Sunglasses | Chanel Bag | Madewell Jeans | Ammara Top (similar here) | Ann Taylor Pumps (similar)
ATTEND A CONCERT AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL
I loooove outdoor concerts. What better way to kiss Summer goodbye than with some music at one of LA’s coolest amphitheaters?
BEACH DAY IN MALIBU
Even though I have been to Malibu numerous times, I have never actually had a proper beach day! I know, I know… How is this possible?! I’m going to drag my friends to the beach the second I get home and recover from New York Fashion Week!
GETAWAY WITH MY GIRLFRIENDS
My friends and I have been SO busy lately. We haven’t had time to relax in a while, so we want to plan a little girls trip to a nice resort with an amazing spa! Let’s be real, that’s all we care about ;) We are thinking of possibly Palms Spring or Santa Barbara? If you have any recommendations, please let me know!
BONFIRE AT THE BEACH
There’s nothing better than having a bonfire at the beach while watching the sunset and making some s’mores. Maybe we can do this after a day out in Malibu. Will be making sure that it is done as soon as I am back home!
HIKING THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN
I’m pretty sure this is on everyone’s LA bucket list. I’ve hiked Runyon Canyon many times before, but everyone insists that the Hollywood Sign hike offers the best views! What are your favorite hikes in Los Angeles?
What’s on your wishlist before the Summer ends?
On another note, I just wanted to take a minute to acknowledge all of the people affected by Hurricane Harvey. If you haven’t donated yet, please take a second of your day and donate! These people need us. This article on The New York Times tells you where you can donate (and avoid scams!) Thank you!
