11 Beauty Essentials in My Travel Bag

I’m currently in Panama with Chanel Beauty for a very special event (remember to join in on Instagram), but I’m taking a quick break to share my travel beauty essentials. I’ll be here through the end of the week so I didn’t pack any “travel-sized” products. I brought all my full-sized products because I find it easier to keep up with my stuff when I have less to carry on. The products I’ve shared below are those I grab trip after trip. I’m finally putting them together in case you need product recommendations for your summer travels.

1. Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss

This trip is packed with events so these Chanel lipglosses are coming in handy. I get the perfect shade of color on my lips and long-lasting moisture since the formula is full of peptides and Vitamin E. The smooth texture and slight shine makes it even better for this spring and summer weather.

2. La Mer Treatment Lotion

Ever since I attended the La Mer trip back in March, I’ve been obsessed with this lotion which contains “miracle broth”, which is La Mer’s highly potent blend of high-impact ingredients. This product is great for prepping my skin and adding hydration prior to applying the rest of my skincare routine.

3. Sexy Hair Hairspray

One of my favorite hairspray brands is Sexy Hair because the products keep my hair shiny, soft, and in place. I’m not a fan of flat, frizzy hair which gets really hard to beat in warm climates like Panama. This hairspray is the heavyweight that keeps my waves full and long-lasting.

4. Kristen Ess

You guys know I try my best to never fall short when it comes to my hair especially with so many events happening. I pretty much brought my entire hair kit :) Another haircare brand I rely on regularly is Kristen Ess – they’re so worth testing! Some of the products I want to recommend for you are their Dry Shampoo and Air Dry Creme.

5. Ouai

My travel haircare kit wouldn’t be complete without Ouai! The Texturizing Spray is a great multi-tasker if you want something between a texturizing spray and dry shampoo.  I’m also a huge fan of the Wave Spray when I don’t want to curl my hair again and need to add some volume to it.

6. Drunk Elephant Babyfacial

For a week-long trip that involves traveling, late nights, early mornings, and long days, masks are a MUST! A new one I have been using religiously is Drunk Elephant’s Sukari Babyfacial. I love it because the AHA and BHA gently exfoliates my skin and combats dullness. I can see the difference after one application. I like to use at night after long days and I always end up waking up with radiant and glowy skin! A must-try.

7. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

I can’t use an exfoliating mask daily, so I need to bring one for hydration. This Summer Fridays one plumps up stressed and tired skin, making me look renewed and fresh immediately. I also like that it’s so fast and easy to use. No rinse required! BTW, you can also use this as a primer prior to applying makeup and as an eye cream. Love multi-tasking products!

8. Honest Beauty Mud Mask

The last mask I brought with me is Honest Beauty’s Mud Mask. My skin tends to feel dirty and gritty when I’m traveling. This one detoxifies it, removes impurities which helps fight stubborn breakouts, and purifies it. It contains volcanic ash and charcoal but isn’t too strong or irritating to use.

9. Caudalie Beauty Elixir

Face sprays are my jam especially in hot weather and this cult classic Beauty Elixir from Caudalie is my all time favorite! It preps the skin, sets makeup, and provides radiance. Every time I need a refresher, this is my pick me up!

10. PCA Skin Vitamin C Serum

I have been a user of Vitamin C serums for years because the known benefits of reversing sun damage and fighting aging. The latest and greatest is this one from PCA. It brightens up my skin nicely and the texture is great for wearing under various moisturizers.

The last of my beauty essentials is the Mara Beauty Oil. It’s so amazing for calming down stressed skin, adding deep moisture and radiance. I love that it’s not greasy and keeps my skin looking and feeling youthful!
