If it makes you feel better, I’ve been one to break the rule for years now simply because I can’t live without neutrals, especially not white! But I have to confess, pulling out a pair of white jeans dead in the middle of winter can make anyone feel uneasy. So, I wanted to share my tips on how you can wear your white jeans throughout winter. It’s a wardrobe staple for me and one of the pieces I rely on to look chic and put together.

1. Go for a tonal look
Nothing feels fresher in the winter than an all-over white outfit. To break up a stark white look, I love mixing my jeans with beige, nudes, and camels. You can then make your outfit feel more winter ready by layering on an oversized, slouchy scarf in a similar color family. The greatest thing about a tonal outfit is that it’s instantly lengthening.
2. Add a statement coat
A tonal look with a statement coat always gets style points. As you guys are aware, I rarely ever wear color so I pulled out this green coat, which gives my white jeans a more casual, earthy feel. I love how effortless it makes my outfit.
3. Mix with edgier pieces
White jeans can often feel dainty and feminine. So this is a great opportunity to bring in edgier pieces for a high-contrast effect. If you’re into sporty vibes, a puffer or bomber jacket is great. However, I prefer the look of white jeans with leather or shearling moto jackets.
4. Incorporate textures
Another way to transition your white jeans from summer to fall, is by adding warm textures or darker patterns to your look. Think faux fur and animal prints. With shearling and teddy textures being such huge trends this season, it should be easy to find cozy toppers for your jeans.
