I know it’s early in the new year, but I’m kind of proud of myself for at least sticking to one of my style resolutions for 2016 so far—adding color!  I’m loving the way the burgundy really pops out with the rest of the outfit.

As for the look itself, this is one of the simplest style tips that I’ll share here on the blog: a foolproof way to style a faux-fur collared coat is by simply letting it shine on its own.  A coat like this is a statement piece and should be styled very simply.  One way of doing this is with some faux-leather leggings, a pair of over-the-knee boots, and your favorite pair of leather gloves.  You really don’t need anything else beyond that! Easy right?!

As the temperature continues to drop, I’m going to have to find creative ways to look fashionable while also battling the cold. A statement piece like this faux-fur collared coat is an easy way to stand out while still being able to wear all of your other favorite (and WARM) winter staples.

Hope everyone is enjoying their start of 2016! besos, Pam.
