Now that the temps are climbing in LA and the sun seems here to stay, I’ve been moving a lot of my workouts outside. Since I want to not only protect my skin while out in the sun – something I haven’t always been great at, but am getting better as I learn the effects of too much sun – and also feel confident, I like to have a thin layer of makeup on when I’m out and about. The thing is, finding face makeup that is light enough to not feel gross if I’m sweating, but that also covers and protects, is hard!
Shiseido reached out to me and let me test their new Shiseido Sports BB WetForce SPF 50+. This is a long-lasting, natural looking BB tinted sunscreen that provides great coverage.
One of the coolest features of this product is that contains contouring powders that are activated by sunlight that adds to my natural glow and makes my skin look pretty flawless – not something I’m used to with using only one product! Also, the protection is specifically made to improve with sweat and water, so you don’t have to worry about protecting your skin from the sun while working out! I’ve found that I really like that texture of the product – it covers but naturally, you know?
I don’t always have time to change and put on makeup between working out and running a few errands, so this product solves that problem. Quick tip: If I have an intensive workout session, I do wipe my face with some makeup remover wipes and then apply my Shiseido Sports BB WetForce again before heading out.
