As summer winds down, I can’t help but reflect on my most recent getaway to the Bahamas! With the weather inevitably getting cooler in the States, there’s no question that a Caribbean adventure will be much needed in the coming months, and this chic, travel destination is sure to fit the bill.
Only a quick flight from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami, Resorts World Bimini is the closest Bahamian resort to the U.S. During my trip, we traveled by catamaran to the stunning SS Sapona, located a few miles south of Bimini. Some of the girls were brave enough to swim through the fabled vessel, now serving as a home to vibrant tropical fish, sea creatures, and even a few sharks! We also visited the Serenity Spa for relaxing treatments. After our massages, we had cocktails on the infinity rooftop deck. We also went on a bike ride around the entire island!
