While in Paris I had the opportunity to attend again one of the most anticipated shows of fashion week, The CHANEL show. This season Karl Lagerfeld presented his Spring-Summer 2017 collection in a tech-savvy set in which “intimate technology” was the theme of the collection. The designer celebrated the woman of the “digital universe” by putting a youthful spin on the house’s classics. Besides the explosion of colors, I loved the feminine take on this collection; I saw lots of silk, lace and lingerie-inspired pieces styled with tweed jackets and perforated clutch bags (my favorite accessory of the show). I also loved the romantic vibe of the show, the blouses with big ruffled cuffs, the delicate mix of pastels colors, the big pendant necklaces and the beautiful evening gowns!
For the show, I wore a stunning black and gold tweed jacket from CHANEL’s Fall-Winter 2016/17 collection. I styled it with a silk and lace black dress, also from CHANEL. As for accessories, I wore this phone holder as a bag and these chic sunglasses! On my lips, I have on my latest beauty obsession from CHANEL, Rouge Allure Ink Lipstick (in #140) To see more of my look, check out this video I filmed right after the show.
What did you think of this collection? I would love to hear your thoughts. Love, Pam.
