Earlier this year, I went to San Francisco with Cartier for a very special trip. And today, I’m so excited to finally be able to share those photos and the project with you guys. We were celebrating the Panthère de Cartier collection and shot these photos for their Latin America campaign. This was one of those pinch-me moments this year!
Anyways, looking back at this shoot, I was feeling so inspired by the classic timepieces and clean jewelry created by Cartier. Since acquiring these investment-worthy pieces, they’ve pretty much stay glued to my wrist. I guess you can say I’m def a minimalist when it comes to jewelry. I might change it up with dramatic earrings every once in a while, but most of the time, I prefer subtle, simple pieces just as I like my clothes chic and clean. Since I very rarely speak about jewelry, I thought this might be the perfect time to share the classic jewelry pieces worth investing in, which can take you from office to weekend in a flash.

1. Classic Watch
A watch definitely puts the finishing touch on an office look. And for the weekend, it can be layered with bracelets for a bold touch. While there are many beautiful watches out there, but I don’t think any goes seamlessly from day to night like the classic Cartier watch I’m wearing. The bracelet band is so elegant, making it a versatile choice. I like that the face isn’t so big – and actually, I prefer a smaller face because it feels more feminine and polished. It’s also weightless and super comfortable to wear.

2. Simple Bracelets
A watch alone can sometimes feel basic. However, stacking it with a simple bracelet in a different metal tone can be an instant game changer. I’m often layering my silver watch with this Juste un Clou bracelet from Cartier. And when I want to go for a night out look, I add a few more. This simple arm candy situation is never too distracting.

3. Sleek Hoops
My last pick for classic jewelry pieces goes to sleek hoops. I just love wearing gold hoops! They’re sophisticated enough for work and dressier events, but still, come off modern and trendy for everyday wear. I like to stick to mid-size hoops as they’re not too bold for business meetings but stand out just enough.
