It’s “summer” in Boston.  I put that in quotes because yesterday it was 55 degrees and raining.  However, we have had a few nice days over the past couple of weeks and my husband and I always try to take advantage of them as much as possible.  That’s the funny thing about living in a city in the Northeast—unlike California where it’s sunny and gorgeous almost every day—out here if the weather is even half way decent, expect the Bostonians to be out in full force.

We spent the day walking from the North End (lots of tiny and authentic Italian restaurants) to Newbury Street (tons of great shops and places to eat). This white dress kept me cool and comfortable and as a bonus, made me look a bit tanner. If you’re days lying out are rare like mine, I highly recommend wearing a white dress like this to give you a little visual assist.

The heels are on repeat. I can’t stress enough how comfortable these sandals are. Block heeled sandals are the most coveted style right now and I’m not surprised because you can literally walk in them all day.

I’m excited about some upcoming trips to the New England beaches once I get a chance to catch my breath.  Do you guys have anything fun planned for the 4th? xo, Pam
