Sunday was a bit of a chill day intentionally because my husband came to NYC to visit me for Valentine’s Day. I cleared my schedule in the morning and early afternoon so we could spend some quality time in New York! First, we headed to brunch at one of my favorite places in town, Jack’s Wife Freda. It was crowded but so worth the wait. We got a little bit of everything, but personally my fave dish were the waffles! After that we did some shopping in SoHo, definitely one of my favorite activities to do in New York.
Later that day I headed to the Jenny Packham show and got to hang out backstage with Aveda. It was so much fun, I got to see Bobbi Brown legit doing makeup for the show, such a surreal moment. There was also a stand where Aveda was giving hand massages. Such a nice treat! I love the hair styles they created for the show—the hair was super sleek and shiny and perfect because it made the beautiful dresses stand out.
On that day, I was wearing a beautiful Dawn Levy faux fur vest which was perfect for this particular event and the evening after. After the show, we splurged a bit on our V-Day dinner and had an unbelievable meal at Sushi Nakazawa. All in all, definitely one of my favorite and most memorable days of Fashion Week!
