It is safe to say my life has changed for me immensely within the last few years. After an exhausting few months of nonstop travel and the busiest week in fashion has passed, I am finally settling back into life in my new apartment!
I used to be able to come home from my travels and be able to relax my body and mind, but now I am so busy all the time! I get off a flight and immediately have to begin working and preparing for what is next on my schedule. I have definitely forgotten how important it is to take a moment to embrace life’s changes! For me, embracing change means staying healthy and having your outside reflect the contentment you feel on the inside! Feeling and looking healthy it automatically makes me feel so much more confident because I know I’m putting out there the best version of myself.
I have come to know the toll traveling takes on your body way too well. Skin, nails, lack of sleep, and especially on your hair. My hair was so unhealthy before my move, and traveling on top of that just made it so much worse! Moving after fashion week (aka the craziest time of year for fashion and me) means the start of a new life and I want my appearance to reflect that. One of the things I have desperately been meaning to do for a while is finding a reliable product for my hair to keep it healthy. After such a big change in my life with my move and lack of free time, taking care of my hair is equally as important as taking care of my body and mind. Since I have to perfectly schedule nearly all aspects of my life, I thought finding time to research and test products in my hair would be nearly impossible. Well, I was wrong!
To kick off the start of my new life, I got a haircut, a keratin treatment, and started using Herbal Essences again!
