When it comes to dressing, simplicity is one of the rules that I always try to follow. It’s very easy to get caught up in all of the million trends out there, but I prefer to try and have my own personal style. That doesn’t mean I don’t wear trendy items, but in general, I feel more comfortable wearing an outfit like the one I’m wearing today. This faux suede jacket is definitely the trendier item of the look, but everything else is pretty basic and very wearable. These booties from Nina Shoes tied the whole look together. I usually don’t go for matchy-matchy looks, but in this case, it felt right. What do you think?

His birthday is on Sunday. I’m really excited to do something special for him, but I’m kind of nervous because he’s not a fan of having parties, well he is a party boy, but he doesn’t like when people throw parties for him, go figure!
