A lot of you have asked about my hair care routine and I’m extremely flattered, you guys are so sweet. The reality is that I wasn’t born with beautiful luscious hair. It has taken me several years to achieve this, and I’ve learned a lot from trial and error. I have frizzy, wavy hair…. And I have LOTS of it. In order to keep it under control, I’ve had to invest in good products and complimented these with a couple of keratin treatments. Today, I’ll be sharing with you my favorite products and my hair care routine. Some of the products I’ve mentioned in the past, so I hope this isn’t too repetitive for you guys.

I alternate between two sets of shampoos and conditioners as you see above. I have a slight obsession with Aveda products, especially with the Smooth Infusion and Damage Remedy collections. I use the Smooth Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner because it reduces my frizz, smooths away my wavy hair and protects my hair from daily heat styling. Both of these products have 5 stars across the board with over 1000 reviews on their website. The only downside of Aveda products is that they are a little bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.

The other set that I use is the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Color Renew Shampoo and Conditioner to maintain my balayage/ombre color. Both of these products are purple, which can be a little bit scary, but it gets rids of all the brassiness from blonde colored hair. I learned everything I needed to know about purple shampoo by reading this article. I use these only once or twice a week, no more than that because they can dry your hair a little bit if you overuse them.

Once or twice a week I use the Damage Remedy Treatment Intensive Restructuring Treatment to give my hair a little bit of extra loving. After I wash my hair, I like to apply the Damaged Remedy Daily Hair Repair as a leave-in treatment/detangler. This product also works as a heat protector. Once I’m done styling my hair, then I apply my beloved Beauty Protector Protect & Oil. Oh my.. this product is AMAZING! It’s by far one of the best hair oils I’ve tried. I apply just a little bit to the ends and that’s all I need to achieve the perfect amount of shine. I only use the Tresemme Heat Tamer Protective Spray if I’m re-styling my second day hair to protect it from the heat.

For my styling tools, here are a few of my current faves. Right now I’m using the Conair Infiniti Pro Dryer, CHI Ceramic Flat Iron and my Hot Tools Gold Curling Iron (1 -1/2 inch). I’ve been traveling a lot lately which means I’ve been relying on just one tool to do all the work. Right now, that’s my Hot Tools curling iron.

Ok guys, that’s it for now, I hope you’re all still with me. I do tend to get a little bit carried away when talking about hair products, but I can’t help it. You might think that I use way too many products, but trust me, I’ve learned how to take care of my hair the hard way. As a bonus, most of these products are available in travel sizes, which has been a huge relief. I hope you find this helpful and if you have any questions about the products mentioned above don’t hesitate to ask.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Thanks for visiting!
