I love finding delicate pieces like this sweater that are versatile enough to be paired with some jeans (like in the outfit I’ve styled above) faux-leather leggings or even with some comfy shorts to lounge around the house.

I’m also loving the lace underlay. I’m very into layering right now–mainly because the weather is forcing me to do so! Also, the other day I was reading about the third-piece rule – a style rule I’ve been practicing lately to make sure my outfits always look put together and stylish. In this case, I decided to go a step further and bring in a 4th piece into the mix by incorporating this faux-fur vest on top of my coat.

Try to incorporate this rule next time you’re styling an outfit. The third piece can be anything from a scarf to a hat to a statement necklace. The end result will be a much more put-together look. xo, Pam
