I was extremely excited to put up today’s post because I couldn’t wait to share my first day in Paris with all of you. Day 1 was mainly spent walking around the city, seeing some of the sites, and just really taking Paris in. (And also drinking lots of French coffee in order to stay awake after a long flight.).

My husband and I are so happy to be here a couple of days before a some meetings and shows in order to do some touristing, but also more importantly, to shoot a special project for CHANEL. It’s always been a dream of mine to shoot for CHANEL in Paris. It doesn’t get much better than that!

We were lucky that we had enough time in between visiting the Eiffel Tower and exploring Le Marais to find these beautiful side streets where I took the first set of photos.

The sunglasses I’m wearing are from CHANEL’s runway collection modeled by Lily Rose Depp (Johnny Depp’s daughter) and will be available in boutiques in November. They’re very edgy and definitely far away from my usual pair of sunnies, but I’m so glad I decided to try them out, I love the way they look. I’ve already had a couple of people stop me on the street of Paris asking where I got them! I suppose if you have people in Paris asking where you got your clothes or accessories, then you must be doing something right, don’t you think? :)
