I’m finally back from a super fast trip to NYC and feeling very inspired by glam makeup right now. So much of my time there was spent dressed up with a full face of makeup – and I’m not going to deny that it felt great. I love being able to look so festive and appropriate for the holidays. One of my favorite ways to do that is with lipstick. 1. Tom Ford Lip Color
When it comes to lipsticks, few exceed the luxurious textures and bold colors of Tom Ford. This one is a classic that glides on smoothly and feel so moisturizing. As Tom Ford products rarely go on sale, this is a great time to splurge on a good lippie for the holidays
2. Giorgio Armani Ecstacy Shine Lipstick
You can’t really go wrong with Giorgio Armani Beauty, one of my favorite beauty brands of all time. This one is a tinted lipstick that goes on and feels like a balm but leaves the most beautiful wash of color on the lips. If you like a glossy lip, you’ll obsess over this one.
3. Tom Ford Satin Matte Lipstick
Here goes another Tom Ford favorite: the Satin Matte Lipstick which provides full coverage while making your lips feel plump and full. It glides on like a balm/gloss but with much stronger color payoff. I love that they dry matte but never make my lips look dry.
4. Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Color
So this lipstick isn’t sold at Sephora, but it’s a beautiful product I just had to mention. In terms of finish, it falls somewhere in between matte and a gloss but with super high pigment. It’s incredibly moisturizing and makes a lovely combo with my fave foundation, the Luminous Silk, which is available at Sephora!
5. Burberry Lip Velvet Crush
This is a lippie I was introduced to this year and have been so obsessed with. The innovative applicator allows you to get the slightest hint of color or a high coverage look. You can even work the color onto your cheeks for a rosy flush.
6. L’Oreal Rouge Signature Lip Stain
If you’re more into affordable lip products, then you’ll love the L’Oreal Route Signature Lip Stain. I wore it while I was in NYC and loved how weightless it help. This is the product you see me wearing here, which gives you an idea of just how bold and beautiful the color is.
7. Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick
This is another Sephora favorite! While there are a ton of colors, I think my favorites have to be the nude pink shades which look amazing with darker smoky eyes. The packaging is also super cute!
