I don’t think many things can compete with perfume when it comes to putting the final touches on a look. To be fair, I love my handbags, shoes, and jewelry, but there’s something about the right fragrance that draws people into you. Personally, I am fragrance obsessed and have a collection of bougie candles, oil diffusers, and perfumes. This also means I know my scents well, so if you happen to be in need of a perfume update as we send off summer, below are the best 7 transitional fall fragrances.

1. Margiela Replica Beach Walk
The Maison Margiela Replica line is one you can’t go wrong with. The package is so unique and all the scents I’ve tested have been lovely. However, the perfect one for this timing is Beach Walk. This is the perfume that makes you nostalgic for summer. It’s fruity, sexy, and puts you in a beachy state of mind.
2. Armani Si Passione
Si Passione is one of Armani’s newer fragrances, which I love. What makes it perfect for the transitional period of summer to fall is the fruity, floral scent that’s countered by the strength of the woody vanilla. The bottle is also a bonus! The red packaging is so sensual and strong, and the weight of the bottle is just right.
3. Kilian Good Girl Gone Bad
I think there are few perfumes that give you the best of two worlds and Kilian Good Girl Gone Bad is one of them. The description, “half-innocent, half-voluptuous and all temptress,” couldn’t be more fitting. There’s a hint of sweetness combined with a warm, smokiness that makes it feminine and mysterious.
4. Giorgio Armani Privé
Giorgio Armani makes some fine fragrances so I couldn’t help but have two on my list. Here we have Privé, New York Edition, which is soft, musky, and sophisticated. Initially it comes off pretty sharp but then softens to a classy smell. The price is high, but you do get long wear out of it.
5. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
Mademoiselle is one of those perfumes that will never go out of style. It’s spicy but not overpowering, which I think is what makes it so sexy. If you’re a fan of patchouli and white flowers, this is perfect for you.
6. Louis Vuitton Apogee
It is said that this Louis Vuitton fragrance took years to produce so no wonder the scent lives up to the luxury name. It’s sweet and elegant with some zest, making it easy to wear in any situation.
7. Tom Ford Fougere Dargent
I’m a sucker for all Tom Ford perfumes because the bottle and packaging, but this one specifically because it works best for the next two seasons. It’s the boldest on my list with an earthy and woody smell. The soft spicy amber makes me think of a sexy, sophisticated, and modern woman.
