Two weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend a very intimate dinner with CHANEL to celebrate the launch of its new fragrance CHANEL N°5 L’eau with Lily-Rose Depp and other celebrities like Pharrell Williams, Mario Testino, Alexa Chung, Kristen Stewart, the creator of the fragrance L’eau ,Olivier Polge, and many other familiar faces! The dinner was at The Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles, CA, in the area of the terrace with a spectacular view of the entire city.
As soon as we arrived to the terrace, we were welcomed by delicious hors devours and champagne while we waited for the grand dinner. When the time came to enter the main room we were amazed! The place was decorated with many flowers and candles (see photo below). At the end of the dinner, we were surprised with a special performance of the famous hip-hop artist Nas. It was such a fun night!
My favorite moment of the night was when I had the opportunity to talk with Olivier Polge, the creator of the fragrance, where I asked him about his inspiration. ¨This is the fresh version of Chanel No. 5¨, he told me. ¨My intention was to create a more modern fragrance without changing its main essence¨ Without a doubt, this is something that the Creator was able to achieve as CHANEL N°5 L’eau is characterized by being a fresh fragrance, modern and timeless. En días pasados tuve la oportunidad de asistir, como invitada especial, a una cena muy intíma con CHANEL para celebrar el lanzamiento de su nueva fragancia CHANEL N°5 L’eau con Lily-Rose Depp y otras personalidades como Pharrell Williams, Mario Testino, Alexa Chung, la actriz Kristen Stewart, el creador de la fragancia L’eau, Olivier Polge, entre otros. La cena fue en el histórico Hotel Sunset Tower en Los Angeles, CA, en el área de la terraza con un vista espectacular de toda la ciudad.
Tan pronto llegamos a las terrazas fuimos recibidos con deliciosos hors devours y champaña, mientras esperábamos que se diera inicio a la cena. Pasamos un rato muy ameno divirtiéndonos en el photo booth, deleitándonos con la vista, hablando con amistades y disfrutando de la música estilo lounge.
Cuando llegó la hora de la cena fuimos deslumbrados al entrar al salón principal que estaba adornado con muchas flores y velas. Al final de la cena fuimos sorprendidos con una presentación especial del famoso artista de hip-hop Nas.
Unos de mis momentos favoritos de la cena fue cuando tuve la oportunidad de conversar con Olivier Polge, el creador de la fragancia, en donde le pregunté acerca de su inspiración. ¨Esta es la versión más fresca de CHANEL N°5¨, explica Polge. ¨Mi propósito fue crear una fragancia más moderna sin cambiar su esencia principal¨ Sin duda alguna esto es algo que el creador pudo alcanzar ya que CHANEL N°5 L’eau se caracteriza por ser una fragancia fresca, moderna y atemporal!
