It’s officially spring so you can finally give your wardrobe that refresh it needs. This is the time I usually start to truly re-think my wardrobe and focus on all the amazing new trends I can test out. My wardrobe is basically made up of basics like button down tops, blazers, and easy denim so I rely heavily on shoes and accessories to update my look. This year, I’m really excited for all the new spring shoe trends below.

1. Barely There Sandals
Thanks to The Row, the barely there sandal trend has already made its way into brands like Mango and Zara. I caved into these sandals earlier this year and haven’t regretted it. The red color is such a great way to make a neutral outfit pop.
2. Lucite Heels
Lucite heels and PVC details are definitely trending again. Although they’re not the first to come to mind when you think of chic, they’re really easy to wear with everyday basics like jeans and a tee.

3. Square Toes
I have always been a pointed shoe girl, but this season’s wave of square-toed sandals and mules are worth giving a look. Plus, the wider toe translates into comfier foot wear. I’m gravitating towards styles with minimal straps and low block heels.
4. Crystal Heels
I got my first taste of crystal heels when I purchased these Isabel Marant sandals for my birthday last year. They’re such a showstopper and I’ve since seen many designers come out with versions of their own. High street brands haven’t caught up yet but wait another month and they’ll be everywhere.

5. Slingbacks & Mules
Slingbacks and mules might be considered classics if you’re anything like me, but new seasons details like texture and exaggerated toes will give your wardrobe that refresh it needs for spring.
