I love a pair of heels as much as the next girl, but just like all of you, my feet sometimes need a break, like on Friday’s post. In addition, sometimes, heels aren’t always the best look for an outfit (shocking I know!) I wanted to give you a few tips on how to rock your flat sandals but still look chic and glamorous.
In a lot of cases, it helps me if I think of the flats as merely complementing the look rather than being the main focal point. I wouldn’t wear a super sexy or revealing dress with a low profile pair of flats for example. Opt for a something a bit simpler up top, a glamorous dress really does require fancier heels to properly complement the overall look.
I’ve said this before, but I always prefer quality over quantity. This is especially true for a nice pair of flats because if they look great, and feel amazing, chances are you’ll be wearing them much more regularly than any pair of heels you may own—trust me!
Depending on the outfit, you may need to switch your pair of flats up in order to best complement the overall look. Some flats like these, are a bit chicer and will do well to give a more simplistic look a bit of a lift. Whereas these are more toned down and would work nicely with a more casual attire.
Those are just a few tips, but I hope they help! How do you make your flat sandals look stylish?
