I recently shared a poll on Instagram, asking you guys what kind of business you thought I should start. And one of the things that came up repeatedly was chic workwear pieces that can also be worn casually. Although I’m excited about possibly starting some kind of new business venture, there aren’t any confirmed plans right now. However, I wanted to give you guys a little inspo today by sharing my favorite fall outfit to wear for work and play. 1. Cropped Cardigan
When the weather is warmer, we know crop tops and high-waisted pants go together like peanut butter and jelly. We can take that same notion into fall and winter by switching out a crop top for cropped cardigans. It’s a cozy piece that’s work appropriate but can be made sexy with a lace bralette underneath for the evening or weekend.

High-waisted pants are one of my secret weapons to looking taller. If you want a versatile pair that looks polished at the office but also turns heads at night, go for a floor-sweeping, wide leg silhouette. It’s a piece worth investing in and will take you far into the years.

Mini top handle bags make any outfit look more expensive than it actually is, and it’s one of my favorite trends this season. It perfectly complements any office attire like a skirt suit, but it works well with more laid back outfits too.

There isn’t a better way to tie your work or weekend outfits together than with a pair of minimalist heels that aren’t too party-like for the office nor too conservative for the evening. The ones here strike the perfect balance of trendy, sleek, and understated.

5. Cartier Accessories
Finally, to put the finishing touches on any outfit whether it’s for work or play, I swear by my Cartier accessories. I rarely ever take this watch and bracelet off which makes the high price tag so worthwhile! The simple designs are so classy and exude the ultimate luxe factor. These two pieces can make your outfit look super expensive too!
