Through season and climate changes, I have always felt forced to change up my skincare routine. This can be hassle when I have to travel to various cities in a short time frame. For instance, going from Los Angeles to New York City or even to Panama. I’ve always thought that packing, unpacking, and repacking would be easier with a single skincare line that meets my needs between different cities and temperatures. I’ve also noticed that my skin needed to be treated differently in every city. A few months ago I met with the founders of the brand Pour Moi Skincare, the first-ever climate-smart skincare collection. I took these products with me on my recent trip to Panama, and have had them in constant rotation. I have been so excited to tell you guys more about the line!
What’s amazing about the Pour Moi skincare system is that it offers four daily moisturizers – one for each major climate (temperate, polar, desert, and tropical) – each of which can be easily added to your current skincare routine. Also, the labeling makes my life so much easier when it comes to traveling and lets me know what I need to use each time. It’s super convenient that they’re TSA-approved so I can easily throw them in my beauty bag.
I love that all of these products contain hydrating ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, to stimulate and lock in moisture. I felt like my skin was balanced throughout the traveling, which was so instrumental in having a hydrated, youthful glow. I don’t often get that effect after long plane rides, but my skin felt a bit different this time! If you read the ingredient list, you’ll find several listed that provide skin benefits, such as squalane oil, coconut acid, and lactic acid. It’s always a bonus knowing that brands I love infuse effective ingredients I know work!
For the evening routine, you can pick from two serums and add a night cream. Personally, I have been using the Black Serum for over a month now. (If you follow my stories on Instagram, you’ve probably seen this a few times!) I love this serum because it works so well for dry and sensitive skin types. I love how it replenishes and restores the skin while I’m asleep. I always feel like I wake up to healthy, hydrated skin by the next morning. And it’s the same effect whether I’m in LA or Panama.
