I love a good boot but I’ve been a little hesitant to the current combat boot trend so far. While I like the look, a lot of the options I’ve tried felt too chunky for my style. I like to keep things sleek and more tailored and everything I was finding was bulky and heavy which isn’t for me. So when I found this skinny, sleek pair, I knew I had to grab them.
Since receiving them last week, I’ve worn them non-stop. I love that they give a cool, edgy feel to my otherwise classic wardrobe, but they do so in a way that’s in my comfort zone. Since I figure a lot of you guys probably have the same issue with the combat boot look, I wanted to share these.
As far as styling them, I think they look chicest with black or gray skinny jeans tucked in. On top, I’ve been keeping things classic with a simple sweater and longer plaid coat. I’ll link out to several of the plaid coats that I’m loving lately as well:
