Location: Panama City, CHANEL Boutique.
My addiction to vests started as soon as I got my first job in Panama at an advertising agency. The agency had a very informal dress code, but I always dressed up a little bit because I didn’t want people to see me as the newbie. Once I got more comfortable with my job and coworkers I wanted to find an alternative to blazers to look a little bit more casual and laid back. Vests were the perfect solution to my problem. You can wear a vest to the office with a button-down shirt and still look very professional. It also looks great paired with jeans and a simple t-shirt and some flats. I can sit here all day and write different outfit ideas with vests so please let me know in the comments below If you would like to see some more.
Now, how cool is this CHANEL store in Panama? I love the tropical vibe and the entire decor. It’s very clean, very simple and different from what I’ve seen in other CHANEL stores. Their staff is very nice and every single corner of the store was styled to perfection. I saw some bags in colors that I’ve never seen before like this beauty I posted on instagram. Lots of you wanted to know if I got it or not and the answer is…No. Although it matched my shoes perfectly (I didn’t plan this, a sign maybe?) I think I need to buy a few more classic pieces before I buy a turquoise bag. At least I know exactly where to find it, right? Or more importantly, my husband knows where to find it! ;)
If you are visiting or live in Panama, you must visit this boutique. It’s located in Calle 49 Bella Vista. Now, don’t wait too long because this is a temporary location. They will be moving soon to Soho Panama, a new luxury mall.
Thanks to the CHANEL team for their hospitality!
