For as long as I can remember, I have obsessed over blazer and pantsuit looks. There’s something about that strong, feminine aesthetic that I’m always drawn to. Needless to say, I’m excited that suiting is everywhere this spring. If you’re not sure about what type of blazer would look best on you, definitely check out my last post here. Once you’ve got some options, you can try out some of my favorite ways to wear a blazer below.

With a Skirt
Here’s a look I’ve been dying to wear for spring. There seems to be a misconception that a blazer outfit isn’t stylish and fresh, but try pairing your blazer with a skirt! I think flowy midi skirts that accentuate your figure work best. I love playing with trendy prints of the moment like snakeskin and leopard. A neutral blazer really balances this look out.
Pro Style Tip: Wear your blazer as a top and belt it at the waist to highlight your feminine form.
Classic Suiting
A classic blazer look involves tapered trousers and either mules, pumps, or loafers. I love this look, and find that there are so many ways to reinvent it and make it your own. I love a monochromatic look since it gives the illusion of a power suit! Be bold with your color choice and make a statement.
Pro Style Tip: Another thing I love to do is make the classic blazer outfit a little sexier and more feminine by wearing a sheer top or bralette underneath.
With Denim
I love this look because it combines the sophisticated aesthetic of a blazer with the more casual tone of denim. It’s a great way to create balance where you’ll look incredibly chic but not too overdressed or casual. My choice of jeans usually involve a crop style and high waist. Distressed jeans can also look more effortless, but experiment with your own style and see what you like!
Pro Tip: A boxy, oversized fit exudes that cool fashion girl vibe. You can also add a pop of color by styling your next denim + blazer look with a bold red tee and statement earrings.
