This month has been a whirlwind and I’m so happy to be back home in LA – but only for a quick minute then I’m off again. In the interim, I wanted to share what I wore to the Emmys and give you guys some updates beyond what I’ve shared on instagram.
I don’t even know where to start, but this was an incredibly special moment for me. I have never imagined attending something this monumental, but you know that saying about dreams coming true. Well, they do. If you’re wondering why I went to the Emmy’s it was to officially celebrate my partnership with L’Oreal as Brand Ambassador and the launch of their NEW Voluminous Burgundy Mascara. I’m so excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to share more in the coming months.

Since this was such a big milestone for me, I knew I couldn’t do it alone. The whole experience had me so excited, emotional, and shook that I wanted assistance putting a killer look together. The L’Oreal team worked their magic when it came to hair and makeup – and I loved everything about it. The soft smokey shadow and flawless skin were just what I wanted. To finish it off, I used the Burgundy Mascara on my lower lashes. It’s one of my favorite beauty tricks this fall for adding warmth and definition to your lower lashes – love that it’s less intense than black. You guys should try it! I also love the sleek hair situation. I didn’t think I could pull this off with short hair, but it turned out so beautiful.
Kristine Urzua helped me with the styling. The only two words I could think of to describe what I wanted to radiate was chic and glam. She helped me fulfill my vision since this dress and belt was a clear winner for the gold carpet! What do you guys think?
When I arrived at the Emmy’s, I was nervous because there were so many familiar faces everywhere, many of which I’ve only seen in magazines or in paparazzi photos online. Some of the celebs I spotted were Ricky Martin, Justin Timberlake, and Jessica Biel. I couldn’t believe I was standing among them. After the awards, I got to attend the Governors Ball, which is the official Emmy’s after party. Everything about this was so surreal and a dream come true!
Huge props to Emari Traffie for capturing all of this for me! And thanks to all of you for your kind words and support throughout these years.
Before I sign off, I want to share some words of wisdom. Don’t allow yourself to get so bogged down in negativity and worry that you lose sight of what you want. Be humble, grateful, and always ready to receive because if you believe and act like something is already yours, it will come. Magic happens when you don’t give up even when you really want to. If there’s something you can’t stop thinking about, don’t stop working for it. This opportunity has been proof that anything can happen for anyone.
I hope you guys enjoyed this!
