Contrary to popular belief, dressing like a fashionista doesn’t require you to break the bank. You can create chic, stylish outfits without even touching designer brands! The next time you scroll through Instagram, Pinterest, or wherever you get your inspiration, make notes of the kinds of pieces you see and outfits you like. Then, hunt them down at my favorite high street shops below. There are so many stores that are both current and trendy, yet keep their prices down. Here are some of the best places I go to shop for affordable and stylish clothes.
SHOP THE POST
I am completely obsessed with Mango at the moment. They are so on-point with the styles I love. Their clothes are so elegant, the colors are magnificent, and the designs are creative with beautiful and exciting details!
H&M is one of my go-to shops for basics. Because they produce so much for so cheap, it can sometimes be a hit or miss. You may have to comb through their selection a bit to find what you are looking for, but when you do, they’re pretty awesome and can last a long time.
& Other Stories
& Other Stories is like H&M’s older sister brand – higher-priced, but higher end with sophisticated cuts and tailored pieces that perfectly suit my style. I love their selection of basic tees, blazers, and easy dresses like the one I’m wearing today.
Zara is another place I love to look, especially for trousers, blazers, and heels. Their styles are quite minimalistic and easy to mix and match. They currently have a “Festival Edition” section filled with all the fun summer staples you’ll need for the festival season!
To find elegant silky basic blouses and tops, classy workwear, and fun trousers, look no further than Aritzia! They have everything you would need to create a fashionable wardrobe for any season, plus they frequently have insanely generous sale prices! A lot of their amazing spring stuff is on sale now – be sure to check it out!
The Frankie Shop
If you haven’t heard of The Frankie Shop, you need to check out their website and Instagram! This is one of the best places to look for blazers, as they have such a variety. (Read about how to choose the right blazer for your body type here!) But honestly, all of their outerwear is stylish, well-made, and they have tons of diverse cuts and styles to pick from.
