This might be old news for some of you, but Pantone selected a really beautiful combo for the colors of the year, Rose Quartz (blush tone) and Serenity (light blue). I'm pretty much obsessed with both of the colors, but today's post was totally inspired by Rose Quartz, as you can see. If you're wondering how to wear this beautiful blush tone, hopefully today's post will give you an idea of how to incorporate this trend into your everyday wardrobe. First, try to pull pieces from your closet that already have this shade in them; they don't have to be the exact color, a similar shade is fine. For example, the coat I'm wearing is a very light pink, but still it does the trick! I can't help but pair blush and pink tones with other delicate colors, like grey for example. Pink and grey go beautifully together - you can see another idea on how to wear these two colors together here on this recent post. The final addition to the look, was one of my favorite pairs of denim from ASOS.  I think this is pretty much the easiest way to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe.

If you’re wondering how to wear one of the colors of the year, hopefully today’s post will give you an idea of how to incorporate this trend into your everyday wardrobe. This might be old news for some of you, but Pantone actually selected  two colors this year: Rose Quartz and Serenity (light blue). I’m pretty much obsessed with both of the colors, but today’s post was mainly inspired by one, as you can tell by the photos.

Working Rose Quartz into your look is actually quite easy. First, try to pull pieces from your closet that already have this shade in them; they don’t have to be the exact color, a similar shade is fine. (For example, the coat I’m wearing is a very light pink, but still it does the trick! This coat is sold out, unfortunately, but I’ve listed a similar option below.)

Next, find a good complementary color. I can’t help but pair blush and pink tones with other delicate colors, like gray for example. Pink and gray go beautifully together – you can see another idea on how to wear these two colors together here on this recent post. Finally, finish off the look with a nice pair of jeans, I’m using one of my favorite pairs of denim from ASOS. Let me know what you think! xo, Pam
