If you’re like me, it’s not really realistic to invest in an entirely new wardrobe every season. Sure, most of us will probably buy a few items here and there as the weather starts to change, but doing a complete overhaul is certainly less common. As a better alternative, this is a good time to really spend some time looking through your closet and reinventing the pieces you wore during other seasons to see how you can layer them and restyle. It takes some work, but it’s totally worth it!
A good example is my outfit above. If you’ve been following my blog regularly, you’ll recognize this tartan print vest from The Fifth Label. I styled it previously with jeans a light sleeveless sweater before it got freezing cold out. You can see the look HERE.
Now, instead of leaving it in the back of my closet I decided to style it in a completely different way with a faux fur stole and this black-on-black look. I hope this inspires you guys, remember there are so many different ways to rock the same piece. It takes a little time and patience, but it’s much friendlier on your wallet. xo, Pam.
