The temperatures are getting warmer, and it’s only natural to want tan, glowing skin! Although I’m a big fan of that bronze, sunkissed glow, I have to admit that spending hours soaking up the sun is the last thing I want to do. Fortunately, sunbathing isn’t the only option to give your skin a gorgeous shine and tan color.

I just got back from Panama but wanted to add a bit more color so I decided to give these towelettes a go. Before applying them, I washed and exfoliated my skin for the best results. My skin can sometimes be dry during springtime, so I hydrated those flaky patches with an oil-free moisturizer first. Then, I smoothed the towels over my arms and legs, lightly skipping over the knees, ankles, and elbows. The final result was a natural looking, streak-free tan.

I love that these towels work gradually, which keeps things from going too far, especially if you tend to be heavy handed. It’s very forgiving and buildable. It took about an hour for the tan to start to appear, but I loved that my skin looked healthy, dewy, and moisturized. The entire process was easy and left no residual smell either.
