Drop Earrings
The latest and greatest in current jewelry trends have been drop earrings. More and more people are reverting to styles that are bolder, larger, and all around more eye catching than your standard stud. These particular accessories are 2-3 times longer than a regular earring, often cascading right to the collarbone. This is such a fun trend that will continue into the summertime.
Pearls
I have seen a huge resurgence of pearls lately, which I’m obsessed with because they’re so classy and chic. Pearl jewelry is perfect for both dressy and casual outfits and can be purchased in an array of styles from jewelry to handbags and even sandals!
Hair Pins
Hair pins have been all over Instagram and Pinterest so you definitely will want to stock up on some for the springtime. I have seen a lot of variety within this hair accessory – including 90’s style metal pins, butterfly clips, and other jewel-encrusted variations. With this accessory, sometimes more is even better! You can get pretty creative with your hair pins by mixing and matching or wearing multiple at once.
Headbands
These head accessories are back and in a huge way, and many of the big fashion houses have come out with their own interpretation. Depending on your preferred style, you can find thin metal bands adorned with gems, neon or animal print fabrics, ribbons, and more. This can be the perfect addition to an updo!
Seashell Jewelry
The other spring jewelry trend worth mentioning is the use of seashells within earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Seashell jewelry is really kitschy and quirky, which I adore. You’ll find seashell pendants on long necklaces, mini shell bracelets, and dangling from long earrings. What better accessory to get you in the mood for the beach?
